What folks are saying about

Past Cache Valley Cowboy Rendezvous Events

“I think that for a first-time event like this that they hit a home run.   I’ve been to a lot of these,  including  some that have been going on for 10 or 20 years, that haven’t run as smooth as this one has during its first year.   So,  it’s been great.” Andy Nelson,  Cowboy Poet and Humorist

“ My experience here in Cache Valley was just top shelf,  from the moment we arrived till the last prayer was said at Cowboy Church.   Just wonderful people,  a very, very well organized event that we’re really proud to be a part of.   We came from a long ways to be here and it was really worth the trip.”   Eli Barsi, Canada’s Cowgirl

“We had a huge turnout.  We were just trilled with how many people came,  We usually don’t have this many”    Cowboy Chaplain Marion Manwill’s  wife Violet about Cowboy Church held at the American West Heritage Center

“I’m humbled by your kindness, hospitality and the friendship that I experienced since I’ve been out here.   I love the West,  I love the Western culture,  and  the people from the West are just really, in my opinion,  the greatest that there are anywhere.”

South Carolina Cowboy Poet, Steve Porter

“Congratulations on your impressive and successful first annual Cache Valley Cowboy Rendezvous.  I am proud of your efforts.  The Rendezvous was impeccably organized, enjoyable for all ages, and a great tribute to our Cache Valley Heritage.  The artists were talented and varied, the volunteers were helpful and friendly, and I heard great compliments from those who attended.   Thank you for your efforts to draw people from out of the area to Cache Valley to stay in our hotels.  The Visitors Bureau is pleased to partner with your organization in an endeavor to bring visitors to  Cache Valley.  Thanks again for your hard work and I look forward to many successful years to come.”

Julie Hollist, Director, Cache Valley Visitors Bureau

“What a great job you and everyone did for the CVCR!   I appreciate all the work you all performed to make a great event happen.   Without all of you, Americana music and arts go by the wayside. You have created a meaningful, lasting event that is and will always be an edifice to the music of the common people–music that doesn’t need Madison Avenue or Nashville promotion to touch our hearts. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”     National Yodeling Champion,  Larry Wilder

“We, as members of the Cache County Council, wish to offer our congratulations and a very well deserved  “pat on the back”  for a tremendously successful First Annual Cache Valley Cowboy Rendezvous.   We were not just pleasantly surprised, but downright awed at the organization and flawless execution of this large event.   Those who attended were well-rewarded and definitely got their money’s worth.  The world-class entertainment, the music, the poetry, the vendors, and the wonderful volunteers all contributed in making it a most outstanding event we hope will continue for years to come.  We express our hearty appreciation for your amazing work in putting this together and your tireless efforts in advertising and promoting it to residents of Cache Valley.  Thanks to you, the Cache Valley Cowboy Rendezvous had a well attended and very successful debut, and it looks to become a great tradition for the residents of our beautiful valley.

The Cache Valley Cowboy Rendevous is a great experience for the whole family. It’s very relaxed, low key, and affordable, and all of the performers are very friendly and approachable. My wife Ann and I thoroughly enjoyed both days and will be attending next year!
