Ken Wellard

Ken WellardKen Wellard was  born and raised in Southern Idaho. Spent most of his younger years on a ranch located between Shoshone and Bellevue. Ranch life consisted of feeding, herding and milking cows. Ken herded cows on an old black work mare named Floss, who was smarter than he was, and managed to dump him on a daily basis. Ken is a member of the Cowboy Poets of Idaho and is a recipient of the CPI Silver Quill Award for poetry writing and recitation. Ken, along with his wife Emma, presently resides in Sandy Utah and he is a member of the Cowboy Poets of Utah.  Ken can be reached at tumblesage@gmail.com
